Dear friends of One Yoga Center,
In an October 2019 article by the Canadian Mental Health Association, the importance of human connection is discussed, as well as the studies that prove how harmful a lack of human contact can be. The point is: We Need Each Other. We need human interaction and contact in order for optimum health to be present in our life. And yet in today's climate many are finding this a difficult task.
How can you connect more deeply to others?
That is an important question to ask yourself. Using technology has become a very important substitute, but it cannot be the new go-to. We still need to touch, to hug, to interact face-to-face for the human connection to work fully. Consider these fun ways to integrate more personal connections for November:
~ Bonfire or Fire Pit in a friend's backyard
~ Walk in a local park with someone special
~ Tea-time with your bestie
~ I-Pod Shuffle & Snuggle with your mate
~ Family Thanksgiving and/or Friendsgiving Dinner
~ Ocean Breathing with your Yoga Pals on the Beach
~ Hug someone you live with for 5 minutes straight
Many professionals in the field of mental health specialize in working with those struggling, so please reach out to someone with the process of re-connecting to others.

Dear friends, November is that time of year when we begin to reconnect with family and friends. It has been too long for some important connections, and I am personally making many plans to dive back into these connections, and I trust that you are also working on that. I am currently visiting my Mom down in Florida and only have one oracle deck here, the one that I brought for her to pick a card from daily, Kyle Gray's The Angel Guide Oracle. I asked for a message for the community regarding working with Connections and this is what evolved: TRUST THE UNIVERSE In his book, Gray discusses that nothing happens by chance. That everything occurring at this moment has a Divine Purpose behind it. He also says that you will know the right path when it comes to you. With respect to our question on Connections, I love this message from the angels. Trusting that the Universe is guiding you to make the right connections with the right people, and that those connections will be of the Highest Light is our message. I picked EXPECT MIRACLES card today, and Mom picked GUARDIAN ANGEL. So when I was picking our cards and TRUST THE UNIVERSE came up, it also flipped over with both of our cards with it - coming up for a second time that day! All three cards give us a larger message. Not only is there Divine Purpose, but there is support. Ask angels to support you in your journey. But holding space for miracles is an amazing energy to work with too. Perhaps there are reasons that you have not connected - inner and outer reasons. Make space for miracles. Call in Divine Guidance. And Trust that All is working out in your favor. Love you all!!!
